Product Description

The Zome Lamp is a stunning lighting creation from the Estonian artist and designer Jaanus Orgusaar. The Zome Lamp is a truly beautiful pendant lamp; bound to make an impression in any space. Described by its creators as “ethereal”, it is easy to see why; the Zome hangs elegantly, flowing like an emerging flower from its slim textile cable. This is a lamp that has been carefully mathematically designed to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible, the 72 Golden Ratio rhombuses that form the basis of the lattice creating a smooth flowing feel, similar to the architecture of sacral buildings around the world.

Made of thin aircraft plywood, the Zome is designed to give a deceivingly fragile and delicate impression when in fact being a strong and sturdily built piece; the plywood serpents that form the shade connected by aluminium rivets. Similarly to all Jaanus Orgusaar creations, the Zome has been constructed using only sustainable materials.
